I am the President of Clarity Development Consulting Inc. and have been an Associate with Tekara Organizational Effectiveness Inc. since 1999. I am a management consultant, coach and facilitator who has been involved with a variety of different organizations. My experience has shown the value of blending a coaching approach with change management and project effectiveness principles to create an integrated and unique view of improving effectiveness. I have worked in Organizational Development related areas since 1991.

I am comfortable working with unionized, excluded and management employees. I have been involved in the design, implementation and evaluation of major projects related to change. I also taught consulting, change management and coaching skills for major corporations. I have worked at various levels of BC Hydro including Executive Assistant to 2 Vice Presidents, Organizational Effectiveness Consultant and HR Business Partner. I am an entrepreneur and, together with a partner, also built a successful fitness centre on Vancouver Island.

I have postgraduate training in Applied Behavioral Sciences and am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) having completed advanced training in coaching with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) in 2001. This is the largest recognized coaching training school for ICF. I am a certified facilitator for Peter Senge’s Team Learning Lab. I have developed and implemented major change programs involving the William Bridges Transition model as well as using the Kotter and ODR methodology.

My practical approach to coaching is focused on developing a plan, implementing the fundamental concepts in an excellent manner, and then dealing with the challenges as they come up. I have worked as an external consultant to a wide variety of organizations since 1999 (see info under Accomplishments and Competencies).

I have worked in numerous different industries : Aquaculture, mining, non-profits, forestry, aviation and airport authorities, civic government, restaurants, government ministries, real estate, co-ops, fitness, high tech, software, utilities, insurance, health care and universities.
